Diary study via SMS to find out what the underlying motives are for consumers' food choices at lunch.

In November, MSI launched a diary study among consumers with a stable lunch environment in order to find out the underlying motives for consumers' food choices at lunch. A stable lunch environment means that the environment (e.g. during work) and the person(s) with whom you’re having lunch (e.g. colleagues) are the same. Due to the fact that the time of completion (immediately after lunch) and the response in general are essential, MSI chose to invite respondents via SMS. Respondents received an SMS immediately after lunch with a link to a mobile diary. The diary lasted 3 weeks.
